@Cheri Maui went through a hot, dry spell while I was off the island at the end of June, early July. So hot & dry that the ground looked parched and a couple of fires started (thankfully no one injured or property damaged). Since then intermittent rain has fallen, a couple of tropical storms have passed and evenings have cooled down…though during the day the sun can feel brutal, even with the trade winds blowing.
